James' friend, Wendy is out of town for a few weeks and he agreed to take care of her calico cats, Yoshi and Maki. Cute! She lives in an apartment complex called Dry Creek Apartments near downtown Hayward. There are peacocks wandering all over the place there. We got to use her pass to go swimming. I love swimming. Well, I went swimming. James thought the pool was too cold so he sat in the hot tub instead. After visiting with the cats and swimming I agreed to try a Mexican restaurant on Mowry and Cherry. I'm not generally much of a fan of Mexican food; I have a very, very low tolerance of spicy food so my options seem a little limited and bland. It was pretty good. James recommended prawns stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon, and fried. I couldn't taste the cheese at all. It was okay. I suppose I should be willing to go to Mexican food every now and again since James enjoys it. There really seems to be less and less choices in Fremont for going out to dinner. I don't want to end up going to Chili's every time I want to go out to dinner.
