Waxing Nostalgic

In recent days I've found myself thinking a lot about picture books I read as a child. I remember one about a little girl that was raised as a witch, but is unhappy about being a witch and it turns out that she is actually a fairy daughter that had been lost. I loved this book when I was little and borrowed it from the school library many times, but now I can't remember what it was called and I would really like to try to track it down. It's probably not even in print anymore.

Well, there's your problem!

On the way home from work and grocery shopping at Safeway last night about a block away from home James and I heard this odd grinding, dragging sound every time he made a turn. He pulled over a bit and stopped on Olive to take a look and couldn't find anything and then we both checked when he parked in front of my house. We discovered what it was when he opened up the trunk to get his stuff out....one of his light sabers had come on and his bag was falling on it whenever he turned the car. Lesson learned: Whenever car makes funny sound check for a lightsaber in the trunk before taking it in to be serviced. ^_^
