Reminds me of my friend T's story of helping her aunt move from a home she'd occupied for many years. When helping lift an old couch, T found a little metal box under it, helping support a rickety leg. She picked it up, dusted it off, and read the plaque on top of the box: "IN LOVING MEMORY, LOUIS --- " The box contained the ashes of her Uncle Lou.
When she questioned her aunt about the irreverent use of the container, her aunt calmly replied, "He always wanted to be helpful."
