Vienna Teng Benefit Concert

Saturday night(September 24th) Musical CHAIRities hosted a benefit concert at Mission Coffee Roasting Co. in Fremont,CA starring Vienna Teng to raise funds for Hurrricane Katrina and Rita Relief. Vienna donated her performance as well as all the proceeds from the sales of her CDs. With admission fees, CD sales, the silent art auction, and all cash donations being matched we made $6,375 to be donated to the American Red Cross!
Special thanks to Gail and the rest of her staff at Mission Coffee Roasting Co. for staying open so late and supporting this event.

Holy Cow! That's quite a haul. That's about $60 a head, considerably better than the $25 cover.

I certainly enjoyed myself. I haven't setup for a performance since college, when I was in charge of the orchestra concerts. I'm glad I was able to help out where I could.
