I just watched the most bizarre foreign film. I kept watching it, thinking it should start to make sense at some point. That it would be pretty well explained at the end of it all. Wrong! Never assume. It was called "Suicide Club" and it sounded like it was going to be an edgy, intense creepy movie that would lead to you finding out who was causing these suicides. After a group of 45 high school girls commit suicide there are suicides taking place all over Japan and there is a website that lists the number of people that will commit suicide before it takes place. Obviously there is someone or some group encouraging people, somehow, to leave this mortal coil, but how? It sounded interesting and creepy. Maybe like it would be something sort of similar to "Ringu." EEEEEEE...sorry, wrong response. The correct answer was crazy film that winds and weaves all over the place making you think that it will eventually all come together, but ends up just getting more convoluted till you have no clue what is going on. I would not recommend this one. I would be very curious if someone could watch this and actually expalin it to me, but I couldn't suggest that that many people sit through it. Probably should have forgone watching it and watched more Star Trek TNG Season 1 episodes instead. Oh geez, and there was this guy that seemd like a Japanese mix of Dr. Frankenfurter and the Crow. Brrr..not a pretty thing.

Just watched what? Right now, it sounds rather voyeuristic!

That figures. You would end up checking my journal right after I had started the first line and then decided to double check something on google. I bet "I just watched..." made no sense at all. It should make a little more sense now.

It's your own fault for not finishing your post before posting! So there! Nyah.

I was just observing that the timing was funny. Not that it was someone's fault! =P

Ecchi. Thinking I meant something voyeuristic. Naughty, naughty boy. Get your brain out of the gutter.

Why, so yours can float past me more easily? ;)

And besides, you should have known what you were getting by the cover of the film alone, having watched enough Japanese films to realize that unlike American films, they really CAN be judged that way... Which is good and bad...

Hey. I would have been fine with it being a little surreal and not making complete sense (to me). I was expecting it to be a little unusual, but not that it was going to be that out there and not make any sense at all! It started off like it was going to go somewhere and then in the last half hour of the film it deteriorated till I had absolutely no idea what was going on.
