Kim managed to pull through and schedule me for 11-6:30 on Saturday the 30th. =) Yay!

Why is that so good?

From: [identity profile] anam-moon.livejournal.com
Well, for someone who is used to getting off at anywhere for ten-thirty to eleven-thirty being able to get off at six-thirty seems really early. Besides, that will free me up for trying to go to the latter part of a friend's halloween party. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to attend at all. =)

Ahhh did you pick your final costume yet?

I'm thinking that I will be a Jedi with James on Halloween and if I can manage to make it over to my friend's Halloween Party then I'm going to try to wear the Elle costume, if I can throw her together.

I need to find some trouble myself for that Saturday night. Although not as the robot i am thinking. ;)

What are you thinking of being?

From: [identity profile] baronlaw.livejournal.com
No clue depends on where i go and what trouble I get into. What I would wear to a friends house is not necessarily what I would wear in public. Well depends I suppose, Exotic Erotic ball might be even more interesting. ;)

I would imagine the Exotic Erotic ball would always be very interesting. I've never been.

Date: 2004-10-21 01:08 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] baronlaw.livejournal.com
Actually I have never been either I was using it more as an example as a place where you could and/or should wear something outrageous. :)

Yeah, I suppose it would kind of missing the point to show up at the Exotic Erotic Ball wearing a Disney Cinderella dress or something similar.

Great Costume Idea!

I just had a brilliant costume idea. Easily done accent and catch phrase, I have lot's of the props already and everyone would recognize me!

"Pray for Mercy from Puss-n-Boots!"

Now if I could only come up with a tabby stripe cat suit and tail.....

Hmmm...I'm not sure you will have a lot of luck locating an orange body suit, but you might be able to find an orange shirt that you could use fabric paint on to stripe it. As for the tail, you might need to make that. The only tails I've seen while wandering through Halloween stores have been black. That's a fantastic idea though! Puss-in-Boots was an awesome character.

Actually I could just pick up a white one at any dance store and then find someone with an airbrush and a semi steady hand to paint stripes. It will wait for another Halloween though. :)

Ahhh...good thinking.
So, you've come up with a great idea for another Halloween, how about this one?

Well my backup plan is "Pirate Ninja" since that is good to go. I am leaning towards attempting "Slade" from the Teen Titans. But I have this idea nibbling on my brain to do a Borg.

Hmmm..Slade would be pretty cool, but I love the Borg idea.
I tried looking at a Halloween store today, but couldn't find a nurse outfit that would work.

Well it looks like it will be Pirate Ninja, I don't have enough time to glue a bunch of plastic piping and gadgets onto a rubber suit in time. ;)

That's a shame. You wouldn't even have time to put together a Slade costume?

Re: Great Costume Idea!

From: [identity profile] baronlaw.livejournal.com
Well I could probably pull off Slade but the vote went for "Pirate Ninja". As for the Borg I suppose I could throw a "glue bits to the costume" party. Probably only take an hour if I had 2 or 3 people working on it. :)

Ah, so you were really looking for help deciding by using the poll. I was just looking for an opinion, I still wanted veto power.
"Glue Bits to the Costume" party sounds like a grand time.

Well I would still exercise veto power if need be. Say for instance the "cheerleader outfit" write in group had one.

Yeah actually that would make a good party game. Everyone bring black bits, wires, tubing, etc. I could just stand in the middle and let people have fun. When they were done I'd have a costume. :)

Course, the party game would have to be held on Halloween or at least the day that you were planning on doing all your Halloweening since that sounds like it would be impossible to get out of without wrecking your costume.

Yep it would be a fun way to start the evening or maybe it could be an all night thing. You'd have to plan a bit ahead though. Inform people to bring odd bits and pieces to the party or have some sitting around. As for getting out of it, I had not thought of that. It does have a zipper in the back, as long as people did not cover that up completely I should be able to get out. Of course people might consider it fun glueing me into the costume for the night. ;)

Chuckle. You also need a bag full of odds and ends and me to show up. ;)

Odds and ends....like butterfly barrettes and sparkly things! Sparkly Butterfly Borg!

I don't believe I saw that episdoe of Star Trek, "Attack of the Sparkly Borg"?

Well I would rather my Borg be basic black, it goes with anything. So when you get a couple of bags of black tubes and plastic bits you can host the "Let's make a Borg" party. ;)

Alrighty then, will be needing a bag with a false bottom so I can hide the sparkly bits.
Oooo...Pretty Sparkly Borg!
You can have one of those eye laser implants, but yours can flash rainbows or something "Care Bear...uh..I mean Borg Stare!"

Now that is a very scary Borg concept.

"group hug everyone get assimilated!"

Can't we just stick to basic black, pleaseeeee?

*puppy borg eyes*

Actually my eyes are about the only thing left uncovered by that suit. But no doubt the last flicker of remaining humanity would burn out soon enough. Resistance is futile!
