The Birthday continues
Sep. 28th, 2005 02:31 amSlept in way too late. ;P Blast that History Channel and its alluring educational programming. I got myself all caught up in watching a program about medical technology in Ancient Rome. I'm fascinated that they performed cataract surgeries and had traction beds.
After watching some of the "Muppet Show-Season 1" that James bought me I got ready to go see "Corpse Bride." Went to the Union City theatre, where they seemed to be having a lot of audio problems. The performers on the previews sounded like the Darleks from Doctor Who. Not quite how I want to listen to my movie, thank you.
I agree with Dragon's assessment of the film. The story was cute and I loved the animation. The character designs were cute, but I think it was a much simpler storyline than in "Nightmare Before Christmas" and there really weren't any catchy/memorable song numbers. They certainly succeeded in making a dead gal look really cute though.
( Birthday happenings ) Need bed now. Goodnight.
