Okay, who else thinks that whatever surgeons were working on trying to figure out how to insert sparkly things into people's eyeballs should have been working on perfecting laser surgery or just about anything else?!

Well, yes. It is definitely that. You have to wonder what made these surgeons decide to work on this. Who said, "Hmm...I don't have any metal IN MY EYE! I should fix that!"

Yeah, that's just scary. Should've used that money to fund glaucoma research or something instead of taking body jewelry too far.

Yeah, they should have worked on macular degeneration, glaucoma, or something like that instead of finding some new place that some dumb kid can decide to stick metal in their body for them to regret later in life.
