Dressing Up Dragons...

...dangerous hobby that is a sure way to get you a little crispy around the edges or an amusing pastime that is only mildly perverse?
Mostly just amusing. I do enjoy partaking in the occasional game of dress up the AzurDragon. She looks quite good in a variety of hats, I might add. ^_^
She didn't have that successful a trip since she was looking for some specific things and not quite finding what she needed, but I would have to say we succeeded in having an entertaining evening out. We tried on JLo hats at Macys, of all things. Trying on hats is generally pretty entertaining, I think as a society we have largely gotten away from hats.
Had a wonderful dinner at Outback. I have leftovers! Eeeee....score!
Saw all sorts of exceptionally cute things at The Disney Store, among them was a good sized Mickey Mouse dressed as Count Dracula and Goofy as the Frankenstein Monster. Cute!
Dragon rushed me through the Mervyns baby dept. that we walked through upon entering the mall. I couldn't help it; there were Classic Winnie the Pooh plush ring rattles and numerous other cute Winnie the Pooh baby things. Probably best that she pull me through there quickly, it's not as though I was going to buy stuff, but still....
Hot Topic had its usual array of amusing items. I got a Chococat plush key-chain on clearance for about three dollars. <=D I love the rude bunny posters; the bunny is so cute, but so dreadfully mean (example= You suck and that's sad.) We have a calendar of that bunny up in accounting at work. I surprised that no one on the crew complained, but it makes me laugh. I saw a number of black cat things at the mall that I might have to look at more closely on another excursion. I just have this thing for black cat stuff ever since we lost Tabet.
I keep hoping that I'll see something that will inspire me for my Halloween costume for this year, but no luck so far. Phooey.
After we got back to my house Dragon showed me a couple of episodes of "Teen Titans." I can kind of see why that series has grown on her. I like Justice League better, but it is rather cute. It's just sort of weird watching this cartoon use so many little anime scene things, i.e. characters in SD mode. I got to see the episode where Starfire is supposed to get married to something that looks like a jello mold with hoses coming out of it, that was pretty funny.
A good day off.
