Stolen Rembrandt recovered
With any luck they will be able to locate the second Renoir painting that the armed robbers took. Daring armed thefts of paintings seem to be happening more and more in European museums. Is it just that their security is so lax that the thieves know they can get away with it?

Date: 2005-09-16 08:54 pm (UTC)I'm hopeful still that "The Scream" and "The Madonna" by Munch will be recovered. I haven't heard anything new about it in some time. I know for a while that they were worried that they might have been burned to destroy evidence. Ack!!
