I get a daily news email from Care2.com, giving me links to current news stories. One of the links today was on a bacterial byproduct found in the soil on Easter Island, called Rapamycin, that research is indicating it could be a cure for Alzheimer's.
I've been hunting around on Google, trying to find articles on it from sites, other than a person's blog, and haven't really been able to vet it yet, but I thought I may as well post a link that I found.
How exciting, if this is true. Alzheimer's is such a frightening disease.
