I agree. There is a real charm to the drawings by the children where the artists seem determined to twist it into the images of nightmares (the drawing of the mouthed head with one tooth, for example, was far more charming in the children's work. Matisse also may have done interesting things with this assignment. I will have to look at some images by Miro to spark my memory.
