Variety is the Spice of Life
Dec. 16th, 2003 06:42 pmAh...a day off. So nice. I wish I could have more quiet days like this instead of the high tension world of retail. I can't decide whether I should take a brief leave of absence after the holiday season or not. I think I would at least wait for my one assistant manager to get back from maternity leave...I don't know. I just feel like I need a break.
I was up early enough to be able to get some more wrapping done before James woke up and then we got ready to go out to eat since he didn't have to be to work till late. We tried going to Massimo's, but they were closed till dinner time so we ended up at Chili's and had pasta there. We need more restaurants in Fremont! What's more, we need more variety! We don't need another middle eastern place or chinese restaurant! Don't get me wrong, I like going to Chinese food, but it would be nice to have more choices. We need a Macaroni Grill or a Fuzio's here.
Anyway, I should probably go get ready for going out. My friend, Jason is going to be here before too long and I should try to get more stuff done before he does.
I think I'll hold off on giving him his Christmas present. He's big on finding the "perfect" gift for people and doesn't believe in giving people hints for stuff to give him, they should just find something that seems right for him based on what they know about him and I don't think I'm completely satisfied with what I have for him.
