Friday Night- Incendio!
The house concert went very well. As always, things wouldn't have run half as smooth if James hadn't been there. He picked up my Grammie Brask and my Great-Aunt Karen, played greeter at the door, helped move furniture, and drove my grandmothers and Great-Aunt home after the show. We drove over to Barnes and Noble at around three thirty to say goodbye to my coworker, Kathy. She has been with us for nine years and really didn't want to leave (she and her husband are moving to Oregon). James and I both got Green tea frappuccinos while there (Damn you Starbucks!)
Almost got ran into over by Raleys. Some woman thought that she ought to be able to back up all the way out into traffic without even checking to see if there was anyone behind her. In a parking lot? What are the chances there would be any other cars or people to back into, right?!
Got back to the house and knocked out a poster for the evening's performance. Thank goodness Dragon showed up early to take photos so I was able to ask her to bring back a can of Fixative. I have a couple cans of it somewhere, but it's lost in stuff after teaching the classes for OK.
It was great getting to see some people that I hadn't gotten a chance to visit with in some time.
Incendio is so very friendly, I got hugs. I gave them the poster I made.
