Meme Time

"Getting to know you" meme, yoinked from [livejournal.com profile] baronlaw and [livejournal.com profile] stride...

This is the problem with LJ, we all think we are so close, and we know nothing about each other. I'm going to rectify it. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

How long have you known the Cap'n and her Dragon friend?

[identity profile] anam-moon.livejournal.com 2004-11-10 02:48 pm (UTC)(link)
I've known the Cap'n for about ten or so years now. Met her through Dragon in high school.
Dragon I've known since Freshman year in high school so I've known her about thirteen years now. We had P.E. and Science together. In P.E. line-up we used to throw pebbles at each other. =)

Eh...why not?
I dunno. I like the way I look in them. I think they look better with my "Scandinavian Build" than pants do.

Why does the thought of you two throwing things at each other not surprise me? ;)

Gee, I don't know...

Fortunately we don't do that anymore. We just throw around Eddie Izzard quotes these days.

[identity profile] anam-moon.livejournal.com 2004-11-10 07:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I graduated from Mission San Jose High School in Fremont in 1995. =)

How would you define a Renaissance person in this day and age?

[identity profile] anam-moon.livejournal.com 2004-11-11 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmmm...that's a really good question. Points for you! Ummm, much the same way that I think it would be defined in a classical sense, I suppose. I think that a Renaissance person tries to have some knowledge in many areas, opens themselves up to exploring a variety of interests, wants to learn about things.
They should know something of history, science, the arts, etc.
