The first time I saw it I didn't really like it. James and I both were a bit weirded out by all the Japanese anime pop culture things they were using for a DC universe cartoon, i.e., SD, sigh bubbles, that little stress x on the forehead. It just seemed wrong, but Karen has shown me a few episodes that are really rather cute, in spite of my misgivings about the style they are rendering it in.
